Join us on 14th July, 6-8pm at Ilfracombe Library, where our plant expert, Nick Hunt will be teaching participants how to prepare your patch, what vegetables to plant and when, how to rotate your crop and when you should harvest, what you can store, to keep you supplied through the seasons!
We will be giving participants some sample seeds to take home, ready to get growing through winter. Yup, winter! Want to keep food coming in all through the year? This is the course for you.
Tickets are £5 per person and can be booked online here for the event. All the proceeds go towards helping the Earth Repair Shop to keep growing. We are funded by a one-off National Lottery Community Fund, so every little helps up towards our goal of making a local difference with knock-on global positive affects for the planet!
Growing your own veg is not only good for your mental wellbeing, but good for the planet, inviting pollinators in, reducing the amount of travel a lot of our supermarket-bought foods go through, no plastic, and much more!
Sign up today and get growing this winter!
