Our shop offers a number of green incentives to help residents on their way to lowering their carbon footprint. Take a look at what's on offer...
Recycling
We collect and recycle a number of items. Collection boxes for most can be found outside the shopfront;
- Tetra paks (washed, squashed and with their lids on)
- Disposable contact lens containers
- Batteries (during shop opening times only)
- Blister packets

swap don't shop
In order to reduce what we waste by reusing and recycling, we are excited to offer our ongoing swap shop! Operating through shop opening hours (Tuesday, Thursday and confirmed Saturdays) visitors can bring in the following items and swap them with someone else's treasures;
- Plant swap - herbs, fruit/vegetable seedlings, houseplants or native wildflowers
- Seed swap - any seeds that are not too old to germinate
- Book swap - from classics to children's literature
Not sure if what you have to swap is suitable? Just send us a message, we'll be happy to help and advise.
An inviting reading corner and calm space
Take advantage of our cosy armchairs in our book swap reading corner and indulge in a little 'you' time. Or if you want to come in and have a chat with us about anything from community to climate then we are always happy to pull up a chair and listen.
Our shop opening times run from 10am to 3pm every Tuesday and Thursday (unless notified on our social media) as well as Saturdays, which will be confirmed in advance on our social media channels.
